My school
Since its launch in March 2015, SAT‑7 KIDS’ My School has been addressing the educational needs of displaced and underprivileged children. Alongside core subjects of Maths, Arabic, English and Science, four new segments have been added to the upcoming third season:

My school - education for refugees
THE REFUGEE EDUCATION CRISIS Following the alarming advance of so called Islamic State (IS), the children and youth of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are facing a tremendous crisis. Over 13 million children (40% of the school-age children from Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, and Sudan) in the region cannot go to school because of conflict. Many are trapped in war zones, where their schools and homes have been destroyed. Others have been forced to uproot their lives, driven out of their homes by relentless fighting.

Why were they killed? addressing children’s questions and fears
Terrible events, such as the recent Manchester Arena bombing and the Grenfell Tower inferno in West London, claimed the lives of young and old. How to help children come to terms with such incidents, how to comfort and reassure them is a question many parents will have had to answer.

Storytelling short and sweet

As we continue to highlight our short web series on SAT-7, we turn to a storytelling program that takes Arabic speakers through the marvels of Genesis.
