Christlike response to suffering
The New Testament tells us that “everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12, NIV). These words can be surprising, or even frightening, to Western ears. Yet for many believers in the Middle East, these words are their reality. How are God’s people supposed to respond to persecution?

Young Turkish Christians discover the power of connection
This summer young Christians from across Türkiye had the opportunity to encounter God in a new way and make new friends as they travelled to Smyrna, Western Türkiye, for the annual Youth Revival festival, sponsored by SAT-7 TÜRK. Hopes were high among the festival’s organisers that it would mark a significant shift for attendees between the first half of the year – with all its difficulties – and the second, a new season laden with possibilities.

SAT-7's youth - focused project YES recently p articipated in “The Grün Fête de la Musique” festival, which took place from 22 to 24 June in Cairo. This year’s theme of understanding environmental issues and supporting sustainability, while also listening to and celebrating music, was met with an overwhelmingly positive response from the young audience.
SAT-7 feature film nominated at Christian film festivals
SAT-7 ’s first feature film , Toxic , has been chosen to participate in three Christian film festivals in the United States and Europe : the CEVMA Film Festival Jewel Awards in the Netherlands, and the Christian Family Film Festival and Faith in Film International Film Festival , both in the USA. It has previously been shown at the Salaam Film Festival in Egypt .
SAT-7 strengthens connections at inspiring conference in Norway
Representatives of SAT-7 recently attended the Norwegian Mission Society’s General Assembly Meeting. Marianne Awaraji, SAT-7 Audience Relations Manager for the Arabic channels, described the experience as “incredibly emotional”. She was accompanied by Kurt Johansen, Executive Director of SAT-7 Europe, Asia, and Pacific, and George Makeen, Executive Director of SAT-7’s Arabic channels.
For your eyes only: a story to inspire Lebanon
SAT-7 is excited to announce that Lebanon, Our Story , has begun filming its original drama series, For Your Eyes Only , which will be broadcast exclusively on SAT-7. The drama series fuses the reality of life in Lebanon with fictional fantasy elements.
